Fall....in the words of Nathaniel Hawthorne "I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house". It's a wonderful time to get out and enjoy the last remaining whispers of the summer behind us, as we grab onto the still warm days that lead up to the winter ones that lie ahead of us again. Fall, although less colorful after the winds have stripped the trees of their remaining leaves, holds a different, more monotonic beauty. There is nothing that beats the smell of fall woods....when the sun beats through the now naked branches of the trees, heating up the fallen leaves and the dark earth below. It's the smell of childhood, of peacefulness, of inner calm. It's a smell that can center and guide you to explore the day further, to as it dances with your senses. So enjoy the last of the fall days that are yet to come. Take a walk, let the breeze clear your mind and brush your worries aside for just a while. Give yourself the gift of time necessary to do that...you deserve that, so go and enjoy what the autumn has to offer you.

It takes time and energy to become who we truly are! In life, so many things can get in the way of our figuring that out..but the time comes in each of our lives where we need to be able to do that if we're going to live happy fulfilling lives that are authentic reflections of our best selves. These are just things I've learned along the way. I hope that they might help you in your own journey into being Truly You! Archives
