Wise Earth Ayurveda Living Ahimsa Meditation Level I
taught by Padmasri Jennifer Gillis
As a weary bird flies hither and thither and comes to rest on its perch where it is tethered, so does the mind come to rest at last in its own self. Chandogya Upanisad
Living Ahimsa Meditation is a profound practice for witnessing consciousness. In this practice we cultivate awareness, strengthen inner harmony, and discover that everything is God. Based on the most ancient form of meditation called Japa (a Sanskrit word that infers putting an end to the cycles of birth), this potent practice helps us to attain a deep state of serenity and peacefulness, whilst reconciling our karmas and dissolving those we have outgrown. Living Ahimsa Meditation is an effective means of cultivating a state of absolute awareness.
